Supported features

Say Hai helps you manage your work schedule, leave requests, work preferences, leave balances, realizations, and public holiday information.

The features available to you depend on your permissions and your organization's configuration. For example, your organization may not allow you to create work preferences.

View your shifts

You can view your personal work schedule for the coming days, weeks, or months. Depending on the available information, you can see:

  • Your planned shifts, including start and end times.
  • The locations or departments where you are scheduled.
  • Changes to your schedule, such as shift swaps or adjustments.
  • Previous schedules, if historical schedules are available.
  • When is my next shift?
  • Show me my shifts for next week.
  • Am I working this weekend?

View your work preferences

You can view work preferences that you submitted earlier, including:

  • Your preferred working hours or days.
  • Your preferences for specific shifts or departments.
  • Comments that you added to your preferences.
  • Show me my work preferences.
  • What preferences did I submit for next week?
  • Did I say I was available on Friday?

Create work preferences

You can submit new work preferences for upcoming planning periods. For example, you can:

  • Share when you prefer to work.
  • Indicate when you are unavailable, for example because of a private appointment.
  • I prefer to work next Monday morning.
  • I’m unavailable on August 24.
  • I can work on Friday, but I’d prefer an evening shift.

Delete work preferences

If your preferences change, you can delete preferences that you submitted earlier.

  • Delete my work preference for next Monday.
  • Remove my preference for August 24.
  • I’m available next Friday after all. Remove my preference.

View public holidays

You can view relevant national and, if applicable, organization-specific public holidays. This can help you:

  • Check whether you are scheduled to work on a public holiday.
  • Plan leave around public holidays.
  • Coordinate your work and personal planning.
  • When is the next public holiday?
  • Show me the public holidays in December.
  • Is next Monday a public holiday?

View leave requests

You can view your current and previous leave requests. For example, you can:

  • Check whether the status of a request is pending, approved, or rejected.
  • Check for errors or differences in a request and take action if needed.
  • Show me my leave requests.
  • What is the status of my leave request for August 20?
  • Has my vacation request for next week been approved?

Create leave requests

You can submit new leave requests directly through Say Hai. You can:

  • Specify the period for which you want to take leave.
  • Select the type of leave, such as vacation, special leave, or unpaid leave.
  • Add a note or explanation for your manager.
  • I want to take next Friday off.
  • Request vacation from August 24 to August 28.
  • I’d like to take two hours of leave tomorrow afternoon.

Delete leave requests

You can withdraw a leave request if you no longer need it or submitted it incorrectly.

  • Cancel my leave request for next Friday.
  • Delete my vacation request for August 24.
  • I don’t need next Monday off anymore. Can you withdraw my leave request?

View your leave balances

You can ask Say Hai how much leave you have available. If you have multiple leave balances, you can request an overview of all of them.

  • How much leave do I have left?
  • Show me all my current leave balances.
  • How many vacation hours can I still take?

Request other insights

You can also request other available insights through Say Hai.

  • What insights can I view?
  • Can you show me the insight [insight name]?

Create realizations

You can create realizations for work you have already performed. Depending on your permissions, you can:

  • Add a new realized shift.
  • Adjust a previously worked shift.
  • Add activities that you performed during or after your shift.
  • Add a shift I worked yesterday.
  • Change yesterday’s end time to 17:00.
  • I worked until 18:00 instead of 17:00 last Monday.
