Balance in a horizontal calculation
Horizontal calculations are often based on an account. Go to General > Plan board settings to see how the horizontal calculations are set up. If these are indeed based on an account, you can follow the steps below.

Saved bookings
Bookings are often saved on accounts when approving the schedule.
The purpose of saving the bookings is to improve the performance of ORTEC WS.
When saving the bookings, the data is stored in the database, which makes retrieving, for example, an account or opening plan boards in ORTEC WS faster.
A saved booking can be recognized by the closed padlock icon before the booking on the card.
Incorrectly saved booking
In some cases, a different balance is saved than expected. This often occurs due to retroactive changes. Think of:
- Changes from a connection that also affect the past
- Corrections that are made directly on the correction account either from a connection or manually
- Changes in employment condition sets
Recalculating the saved bookings
To correct the incorrectly saved bookings, recalculation is required. Always do this first in the test environment to check the result.
Recalculating the saved bookings can take a long time. Only do this for a limited data set and at a quiet time.
Recalculate from January 1 of the year of mutation. And select the relevant employee.
